Breakfast in Bed

With the warmer lazy summer days approaching and the busyness of my everyday life I totally forgot about enjoying the luxury of having breakfast in bed.  While always fun to order room service when staying in a hotel, the enjoyment of receiving a beautiful presentation of morning delicacies on a creatively decorated breakfast tray is something to look forward to.

Here are some creative ways to dress your breakfast tray for that someone special or even just to enjoy yourself.

 The vintage fold out breakfast tray with simple roses a bowl of cereal and newspaper.

April Showers Bring May Flowers.....and More

I love April showers because it's the beginning of the flower season.  One of my favorite times of the year.  The selection of fresh cut flowers returns for a few months when everything is fresh, new and filled with sunshine and warmth.

Whether walking in the city along the canal and the aroma of the planted petunia beds passes in the breeze, or driving in the car with the windows down passing a farm meadow lined with overgrown lilac bushes, the true reward is the satisfaction I get from creating and displaying these seasonal beauties. Oh, and how about the peonies....I LOVE the smell of peonies and lilies.
